Trying to play Fallout 4 on VMWare Fusion

So I'm trying to play Fallout 4 on Windows 8.1 VM on Fusion. I was able to download and install the game with Steam and the launcher opens where I can get to settings and play etc. But when I hit play it crashes. Any ideas? Radeon Pro 460 graphics card installed also.

From what I can read online, Fallout 4 requires DirectX 11. Fusion only provides DirectX 10. Apologies, but that game is not going to work if it doesn't have a DX10 mode.

Fallout 4 requirements can’t be handled by a virtual machine, it required direct x11, 3GB of graphics memory. Support can provide SVGA graphics, they don’t pass through dedicated graphics card to the virtual machine.
