Tips for reducing my Virtual Machine file size

My Windows 'VMware virtual machine' file size is now 110GB -- which account for almost 50% of my MacBook Air's Storage Space!  So, I'm looking for tips on how to reduce that.  One of the things I was thinking about is to reduce the size of my MS Outlook PST file running within my Virtual Machine by simply getting it off my MacBook Air and onto an external drive.  That one file is 10GB -- so, there's a 10% fix.

If I look at my VMWare Snapshots -- it looks like I have '7 snapshots, 99GB used' -- at least that is what is says at the bottom.  Some of my snapshots go back to 2013, which I probably don't need.  Could deleting a few of these older ones help???

What else can I do???

Thanks all!

Unless you have a very specific good reason for running with more then a couple Snapshots then there is is no good reason to have that many Snapshots and getting rid of them is a good place to start! Smiley Wink
