Thinking of upgrading new version 10

Running 8.5.8 on a MBP (15" i7 16GB)

I suffer from that chronic issue with the Camera (see other posts) Fusion 8.5 -  macOS Sierra 10.12 (GM) - MacBook Pro Camera Malfunction​

Can anyone who has this problem confirm any change ?

Also hoping the new version does not have the McAfee BLOAT

Any comments from experience out there ?

One good news and one bad news.

The bad news is that the camera issue you mentioned is specific only to one Mac model "MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012)", and unfortunately it does not get fixed in Fusion 10.

The good news is that Fusion 10 no longer has McAfee bloat as you expected.
