The virtual Windows machine running on my Mac does not connect to the internet.

I am running VMWare Fusion 12.1.1 on my Mac running Catalina 10.15.7.  The virtual Windows machine is not connecting to the Internet.  How can I correct that?

What version of Windows?

How are you trying to access internet resources?

How is the VM network connection configured?
