Hello,
My iMac HD crashed. I replaced it, reinstalled Leopard & updated, then created a boot camp partition.
I then reformatted the drive when Vista Ultimate asked me to do so and installed Vista.
Now I booted back into Leopard and tried to start my boot camp PC using VMWare Fusion and I get the error:
"The Boot Camp partition is not prepared to run as a virtual machine." And an explaination about how Vista wasn't shutdown properly, even though I rebooted Vista by selecting boot camp to restart into OSX.
I checked my sudo fdisk /dev/rdisk0 and I do have Fusion looking for my partition looking for NTFS. And that's the only fix I could find when getting this error.
I also formated my drive, restored from Time Machine and tried it again with the same problem.
Any ideas? I have no clue and can't find a single resolution in the forum here.
My Specs:
iMac 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 GB of ram
Leopard 10.5.6
Vista Ultimate Edition
Thanks for your help!!!
Julian
