Switch back to English UI in 1.1.2?

My native language is Traditional Chinese, and I'd rather using English than Simplified Chinese in Vmware Fusion. Is there any way that I can switch back to English UI without deleting the language resource files via utilities like Youpi Optimizer?

Fusion localizes itself according to the list of languages System Preferences > International > Languages. If you move English to the top of the list and restart Fusion it will switch to English. While Fusion is running you can re-order Traditional Chinese to the top. The solution is temporary unless you keep Fusion running or English at the top of the languages list.

The order you want in the System Preferences Languages section is 1. Traditional Chinese, 2. English and the rest in which ever order. This way when any application isn't localized in Traditional Chinese, it will show in English, and not in Simplified Chinese. (dragging it to the bottom of the list will make it to be accessed last).

A second thing you could do if you don't want to see Simplified Chinese in any application, is to remove that localization completely, e.g. Delocalizer can do this.

FYI, the order of languages in my Language setting is:

1. Traditional Chinese

2. English

3. Japanese

4. Simplified Chinese

But even so, I still see Simplified Chinese in VMware. Maybe this is due to OSX, not VMware...?

Or, maybe Fusion uses "Chinese" rather than "Simplified Chinese"? The "Chinese" setting may cause confusion to OSX and produces some unwelcomed outcome... like the one I experienced. I can't verify this because I've removed all other languages except English... 😮
