Space on virtual file

Just downloaded fusion 1.1 and now there is not enough space on the virtual machine to execute...running win xp on mac book pro...any hints...not savy at deleting certain files or creating space but willing to learn...attaching files if interested

What exactly do you mean (e.g. what are you seeing that makes you say this)? Exact error messages are useful, as well as where the error message is coming from (XP? Fusion? OS X?)

temporary files for this virtual machine are stored in directory "/var/temp//vmware-..." which are on an almost full file system...running tiger fyi...thanks in advance from mac newbie...

Sounds like your disk is pretty full. You could use something like Grand Perspective to figure out where your space went.

thanks...on a 160g hard disk i am down to 500 mb...what happen...have no music,etc to hog space but will use your suggestion...
