...my Fusion 13 reverted to the EXP...then I installed Fusion 13 again...and my Fusion 13 license key was there so I know I installed Fusion 13 before...ugh!

That's bizarre. Did you install Fusion 13 without uninstalling the Tech Preview? I installed Fusion 13 Player (with personal use license) on another Intel Mac where I had Tech Preview installed. Not paying attention, I later found that both versions were installed. Had to remove the Tech Preview by myself.

Yes exactly I installed 13 on the M1 and did not uninstall the tech preview first.  I never installed the tech preview on my Intel Mac.

I figured this out finally.  Installing 13 does not update the Dock icon so that is why I was still getting the Tech Preview.  I removed the old Dock icon and added a new one with Fusion 13's white icon.

Yeah, and I noticed that it didn't remove the tech preview app either...just did that yesterday.
