I have quickly downloaded and tried out VMWare fusion, and all in all (if we consider that it is a beta) I am happy with what is going on. Except for one thing. Is it just me, or it is simply not possible to take system snapshots? The snapshot feature is very important to me, as I use VMs to do malware analysis and I must be able to restore VMs quickly in case the my guest system gets trashed, like I do with Windows & Linux VmWare Workstations.
Is this feature hidden, not present in the beta or it will be just dropped out of the product for the initial release?
Also, the performance is still a bit under my expectations (Mac Book, Intel CoreDuo 2GHZ + 2GB of mem)... I really hope that this is just the result of the heavy debugging...
