Sharing file between Window 8 and Mac OS X 10.8.2

Dear All,

Window 8 professional x64 has been installed as a VM in the VMware Fusion 5. Then, the sharing of Mac files & directories are enabled. However, in the Window 8, using the window explorer, the sharing of \\vmware-host cannot be read and has no permission. Sharings of directories under that \\vmware-host are ok.

In the Mac OS, all permissions are enabled for read and write for everyone but still no permission to get access. Any suggestions?

Just followed one of the posting of "W6JHB" that after I reinstalled the vmware tool, the sharing folder appears again. In fact, I have to remove all sharing of Mac OS X first. Uninstall the existing vmware tool, reboot the VM, re-install the VMware tool. Then, the sharing folder re-appear again (as those of the Window 7 before upgrade) after the fusion's sharing is enabled.
