I'm trying to share a folder between my macOS Catalina host and a Windows 10 VM. The Windows 10 VM can see existing files and write new files just fine, but as soon as a macOS application touches a file it becomes inaccessible through the Windows VM. Can't open it, can't read it, can't write to it, nothing. Permissions are completely denied and nothing I do to grant those permissions in macOS makes them accessible to Windows.
So now file sharing seems to be completely one way, Windows to macOS, and is entirely useless to me.
Any help making files and folders stay accessible/readable/writeable to both OSes would be greatly appreciated.
