Settings not sticking for VM

Hello,

I use Fusion 8.1.0 and I have an issue with 2 settings that won't stick:

– “confirm before closing” is always set back to “unchecked” each time I close VMware Fusion

– The antivirus popup always pops up, no matter if I click “don't ask again”

Any idea what I could try to fix this?

The VM itself is a Windows 10 (probably doesn't matter) and I use OS X 10.11.2 El Capitan.

ok, solved. I threw away everything (two files and one folder) that contained “vmware” in the name in the ~/Library/Preferences/ folder and now it seems to be fixed.
