Running as Service

Can you run VM instances in Fusion as a service, similar to VMware Server? Or does it require an active window, login, etc?

What you can do is to force-quit Fusion - it will just quit UI and run the VMs in background. Not sure about if the VMs will still run after logout and how does it behave with respect to host shutdown. Also if you want VMs to start at login, you can add them to your start-up list (but they will start in a window and you will have to force-quit fusion then). A little more detailed description of the force-quit method is in
