Has anyone ever run Microsoft RDX on Fusion before? I'm able to launch RDX mode with Windows 10 but then nothing seems to happen (no demo content or video loop appears).
Here's what I've done so far:
- Set up a new VM using a Windows 10 iso file.
- Launched RDX via Update & Security -> Activation -> Clicking "Windows" 5 times and entering credentials.
- Restarted the operating system.
- Logged in as Darrin DeYoung.
When researching possible issues:
- I've discovered that when I go to "Disk Cleanup" there's no "RetailDemo Offline Content". The reason why I checked for this was because of this article.
- I tried my company-provided RDX credentials (Retail Access Code, Retailer SKU, Retailer Store ID) and they didn't work. I tried leaving all 3 credentials empty. That didn't make a difference.
- I've tried different Windows 10 versions (e.g. Pro, Education) and they all produced the same result.
What I expected to happen but didn't:
- I expected to see a popup window showing demo content as soon as the Darrin DeYoung profile started up. Nothing comes up.
- I expected the system to reset itself after 2 minutes of inactivity (i.e. closing open windows). Nothing happens after 2+ minutes.
