Right-click on MBP

Hi all,

Could anyone enlighten me about how I could right-click in the vm on a MacBook Pro? I have tried holding shift, ctrl, alt, and command but to no avail.

Thanks,

Hi Petaris,

This is from the release notes: http://www.vmware.com/products/beta/fusion/releasenotes_fusion.html

Executing a right-click on a MacBook or MacBook Pro trackpad

The MacBook and MacBook Pro trackpad does not execute a right-click when you Control-click. The trackpad must have the two-fingered click option enabled to execute a right-click. To enable the two-fingered click for a MacBook or MacBook Pro trackpad, go to System Preferences.app > Keyboard & Mouse > Trackpad, and enable Trackpad Gestures > Clicking. Ensure that the checkbox then reads Tap trackpad using two fingers for secondary click.

Also most two-button USB mice work well for right-clicking such as Microsoft's Intellimouse.

I discovered that on my MBP, the VMWare Tools needed to be installed on the VM before this worked.

Hope this helps!
