Reproducible crash in Fusion's Unity mode.

I'm using an application called HMI Designer by Bombardier which I'm able to consistently crash Fusion with, but only in Unity mode.

It happens if I open a popup dialog to change a property in a propertylist and doubleclick on a line to set the property.

Fusion will simply quit, but next time I restart it, the guest OS will continue as if nothing has happened.

I will past the OS X crash dump below, but if any developer would like to take a look at this, please let me know how I can provie more information:

This sounds like a UI crash. See for the logs of interest (remember to get them immediately after a crash).

Yes, that is the OS I am using, 32-bit version, as my MBP is a 1.83ghz Core Duo machine.

The software is an internal design tool for Bombardier. I'm merely a consultant currently assigned to them, but I shall ask my contact if I am allowed to send the application to you.

I can, for now, provide a screenshot of the offending UI component which makes Fusion crash. It seems to be a tab form implemented as a popup menu in a list... rather convoluted, if you ask me, and probably an unorthodox solution, causing the crash.

This morning Fusion 1.1.1 crashed but when I restarted it the apps were still running without the need to "resume" I was seeing a similar problem yesterday but without an actual "crash" report. Fusion appeared to shut down (the dot below the icon went away on the Dock) but the pseudo-icons for running Windows apps stays active on the Dock. When I restarted Fusion it was as if everything was still running. The Windows icons on the dock no longer responded to clicks and stayed after I formally shut down my guest and Fusion. I had to CTRL-click and Quit each Windows icon.

I am running Windows XP SP2 in Unity. I am running proprietary Oracle development software which is generally stable under Windows (as stable as it gets, am I right kids?). I have 4GB in the Macbook Pro with 384MB devoted to the guest. Of note I cannot redisplay the Fusion app window (which shows recently launched VMs) after pressing CMD-H to hide it's Window.

Oh, yeah, your forums don't work properly with Safari. Specifically the Reply button doesn't show and the Communities menus (My Content > Private Messages for example) don't respond when selected.

I too have a reproducible crash in Unity mode. Brand new MacBook Pro, Clean WinXP/Office 2007 Install. Outlook 2007 freezes in Unity every time. When I exit Unity, the WinXP start button and entire menu bar is gone an I have to restart. I thought this clean WinXP install would be perfect, but unfortunately it's not usable.
