Registering personal product requires company name and phone number

Hi,

When I go to VMware Fusion Player – Personal Use License after downloading Fusion 12, it says that I must register. When I attempt to register it requires a business phone number and company. As a personal home use license, why are these required fields? I am having trouble simply getting a free home use license. I already have a VMware user account and got the download and installation complete.
