Re: would my guest WinXP see an ExpressCard/34 device?

I have a MBP and I'm currently running Parallels. I like VMWare but I need to know something before I go thru with the complete install.

In Parallels, I have my PC access the network thru the ethernet port and the Mac access the network via an Express/34 EVDO-A card. They work FLAWLESSLY. This is great because as a consultant I'm asked to work on a customers network, but normally my email back to the office is blocked. This way I can still use IM and email on the Mac Side and have client related activities on the PC side. It's like having to laptops that can cut and paste - the best of both worlds.

Can I do this using VM Ware? Please advise.

With a little bit of work (there's no GUI, but DaveP wrote a good guide), you can tell Fusion to always use the wired ethernet port. This shouldn't affect OS X using an ExpressCard device.
