I have windows 10 installed in VMWare Fusion 8.5.10. This partition was set up specifically so Quickbooks Premier could be installed. During the installation, QB set up a company file folder in user Public. But user Public cannot be seen by MAC OS. I have set up a shared folder visible in both Windows and MAC OS, and moved QB company files there so they can be properly backed up. However, QB sees these files as read only, and cannot open them. I can create files in this folder but cannot modify. I spent about 6 hours with a QB tech who was also unable to resolve this problem. What do I need to to to get these files read-write?
