Prolific USB to Serial - Com Port unable to see Modem

Hi

I am running ESXI 6.5 on a host and have installed a USB to Serial driver i can see the com port but cannot see the modem the virtualised server is running Windows 2003.

Am i missing something?

Have you tried or will you think about running the virtualized server Windows 2003 by VMware Fusion on Apple macOS host? ...or VMware Workstation Pro on a PC/Windows host?
