Problem with installing VMware Tools on Windows 7 64bit

Keep getting the screen attached. Cannot find how to fix this issue installling VMWare tools.

did you connected the virtual cd rom to the OS ? and check if it is connected status.

is it workstation of ESX - you are deploying

What do you mean by checking to see if it is connected ?

It is a workstation operating on a VMware Fusion 5

Please try to uninstall the tools first from control panel if it exists, then install it from VMware Fusion menu, Virtual machine -> Install VMware Tools. Or manually connect the tools iso to CD/DVD, /Applications/VMware Fusion.app/Contents/Library/isoimages/windows.iso
