Are VMware Tools installed and do you have VMware Shared Folders enabled and a Share defined in the target Virtual Machine's Settings?

Also the VMware Shared Folders URL \\.host\Shared Folders\.. does not require credentials be validated to access the share.

Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling VMware Tools?

You can also choose not to use the VMware Shared Folders feature and use standard methods built-in to the Host/Guest OSes.

I don know what "syncro" is either. Also provide steps to reproduce making the dialog box shown in sincro.tiff to appear.
