Problem with Usb devices

I have installed Kali Linux and Parrot as system on Vmware. With the first, I don't have any issue: I can connect any usb device; with the second, I have the problem that vmware doesn't recognize usb device and it doesn't allow me connecting devices.

Herewith enclosed you will find a screenshot of the problem. Usb is enabled.

Hi,

That might be the following issue:

Shutdown (not suspend) the VM, then edit the vmx file of the VM with a plain text editor such as notepad (or TextEdit on macOS) and remove the line:

usb.restrictions.defaultAllow = "FALSE"
