My printer no longer prints in color on my VM, only black and white. It does print in color on the Mac OS. I have not installed the 09 Security Update. Help??
Good morning. Thanks for your reply to my request for help with color
printing. Now I have another problem. I installed version 2.0.2 this
morning, as prompted when I started to open Fusion. Now I can't even
get Windows XP to load. The little wheel keeps turning and turning
until I have to Force Quit. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Liz
Have you reboot the Mac since upgrading? If not then do so and try running the Virtual Machine again.
Yes, I've rebooted and Windows still won't load. Any other ideas?
Uninstall/reinstall Fusion and then reboot the Mac before starting Fusion.
Hello. I uninstalled and reinstalled Fusion. Same deal. Windows
doesn't load. The Force Quit window says "VMware Fusion not
responding." What about going back to Version 2.0.1?? Thanks for your
advice. Liz
Liz it was nice talking to you and I was surprised at the speed of the remote access connection bring it was mobile broadband. (Must have been on 3G Network). Anyway now that we edited the printers .ppd file then after you reboot the Mac let me know if you can print in color in the Virtual Machine next time you have access to the color printer. Also the results of the sound the for the other issue from the test build of the new Virtual Machine.
Thanks,
Woody
Thanks for your help, Woody. You were a great help. My printer is now
printing in color!! I'll let you know about the sound when I install a
new VM in a few days. I'll keep you posted. Again, thank you very
much. Liz
