I just installed Fusion 3.1.2 upgrade from 2.0.
Am running Mac OS X 10.6.6 on an IMac (3.2 Ghz, 8 GB)
Using Brother printer HL-2140 (says it is compatible with Windows XP)
My Virtual Machine is Windows XP home edition service pac 3
Everything seems to work fine except the printer shows up as off-line and jobs won't print
I can print fine from the Mac
I have gone through the various suggestion on how to fix and none seems to work (troubleshooting printer connection errors in VM ware (1014536), printing from within virtual machine, etc.
I have downloaded the latest driver for the printer.
I have reinstalled VMware tools
I have deleted the printer and reinstalled it.
I had the same problem in VWware Fusiion 2.0 and thought if I upgraded to 3.0 it might fix it.
Any suggestions??
