I have a VM running Linux on my Mac using Fusion 2.x. I need to be able to ping the IP address of the Linux VM from the Mac side. If I leave DHCP on in the Linux server, it gets 172.16.215.128 and that address can be pinged from the Mac side. However, if I manually set the IP to something else like 10.10.10.160, it will not ping from the Mac side. I need to set the IP address manually in Linux and be able to ping it from the Mac. Any help is appreciated.
