Physical to Virtual PC

Just got a new iMac and want to convert my Windows XP Pro hard drive over to a virtual PC. The video on the site used a USB drive to transfer the files. Any other options? My HD is around 35G.

First thing I suggest you do is read the Documentation: VMware Converter 3.0.3 User's Manual (PDF)

BTW VMware Converter has its own Forum: VMware vCenter Converter Forum

Forgot to say specifically "Chapter 4 Converting Machines > Choose a Standalone Virtual Machine Destination > 3 Virtual Machine Name and Location page, type a name for the converted virtual machine and browse to enter the destination location."

"destination location" is any location that has the capacity for the size of the converted Virtual Machine and you have read/write access to other then the disk itself that is being converted and is formatted to handle the size of the files being written to it.
