I have an odd problem where, in VMware Fusion 5, I cannot enable the sound card for a PC-DOS 2000 client. Each time I enable it, it goes back to off. This is with the VM shutdown. I even edited the virtual machine vmx file to enable sound support, but no go. As soon as I launched the machine, the sound was disconnected.
Has anyone else run into this, and, if you've got sound now, how did you fix it?
This is really frustrating. Tie Fighter awaits.
