On launch VM Fusion always asks for admin permissions.

I have been having an issue with VMware fusion that every time it starts up is has to request admin rights and re-initialize. I have manually deleted vmware fusion and all its associated files. The re-downloaded the installer from VMWare currently on Professional Version 8.1.1 (3771013). I am running a Mac Pro on 10.12.2. not sure why this keeps happening.

Hi,

Normally the screenshot you attached is only when starting from the .dmg.

After Fusion has been installed in the Applications folder and actually starting Fusion from the Applications folder it should no longer give that screen.

You also might want to try Fusion 8.5.3 (it is a free upgrade for users of Fusion 8.0/8.1) and see if that fares better.

Also make sure that you're installing and running fusion as an administrator account, not a regular user.
