Hi @all,
This is getting really ridiculous and frustrating: Since almost 7 hours I am going back and forth and trying to get a converted Windows 10 machine into Vmware Fusion 8 on my Mac running El Capitan. As per Vmware documentation the process should be "Migrating Your Windows PC over to Your Mac is as easy as 1, 2, 3…Virtually!". Well this is absolute rubbish in my experience. I have used the Vmware VCenter standalone client to convert my Windows 10 PC to a virtual machine. I have excluded the recovery partition but when I import the converted Windows 10 into Vmware on my Mac and try to boot into it it says that Vmware cannot find an operating system. How is this as easy as 1,2,3? I have tried a few different options such as converting the entire Windows PC, including the recovery partition and excluding it but no luck.
Any ideas what I am doing wrong?
Cheers,
Martin
