Because vmware do not provide an upgrade path for users of fusion 3.1.4 under Mountain Lion I have now switched to Parallels 7 with a competitive upgfrade price of £19.99 A no brainer when the cost to "upgrade" to fusion 4 is £39.99
I have been a loyal user of vmware for many years and feel a bit let down here.
Bye bye vmware sorry to leave you but at a 50% saving I can't afford not to.
According to Re: Ubuntu 9.10 and fusion 3 - no sound you switched to Parallels over two and a half years ago!
Good catch Woody! Likely a shill for a competitor.
I'm running the other way. Getting away from Parallels as soon as possible (I already have Fusion 4, went to Parallels because of a fairly obscure IPv6 bug. Since been fixed in Fusion, but was a showstopper for me at the time.), since they shove advertising in your face with intrusive pop-up dialog boxes... and this is on the paid, licensed version!
