No VPN

I haven't used it in a month or two so I don't know exactly when it quit working. VPN had worked fine for many months previously...

I've tried on 1.1.3 and 2.0 beta2.

My computer is a January 2008 Mac Pro Quad Core with 12 GB RAM. I'm using Mac OS X 10.5.4. All updates have been applied.

I can access the VPN via the Mac OS. If I start up the VPN in OS X and then switch to Fusion (Windows Vista Home Edition Premium), I can connect to the office via the VPN and Microsoft Outlook. But I can't connect directly from Vista, although I could previously. It also works fine on my Windows laptop.

I'm using NAT, as before. I tried bridged, but no joy.

Any suggestions?

When you changed to Bridged did you release/renew the IP Address from within the Virtual Machine's Guest OS or reboot the Virtual Machine after making the setting change?

Do you have normal Internet Connectivity form within the Virtual Machine when using either NAT or Bridged without the VPN running on either the Host or the Guest?

Is there a time difference? If using certificate is it valid?

I tried bridged again after reinstalling VMware Tools and then restarting Vista--and VPN worked again!

Funny--VPN worked before via NAT but not bridged; now it's just the opposite...
