No Software updates in Mojave VM

Hi,

I installed a Mojave guest (10.14.3 German version) VM in Fusion Pro 11 running also on Mojave 10.14.3 German version.

The software update to V. 10.14.4 is flagged by software update. When I click, it gets downloaded and when I choose to install it switches to the Apple logo with a message "installing softwareupdate".. After approx. a minute the VM reboots and is back to V.10.14.3.

This problem already exists in other Mojave versions before. For that reason I did a fresh install to 10.14.3.

Up to high sierra I didn't have these issues.

Currently I am running out of ideas - so any help is welcome...

Try downloading the combo update directly from apple.com and install that.

Did you enable FileVault in your MacOS 10.14.3 VM?

Hi,

the issue has been fixed by VMware with upgrade to Fusion11.1.0
