  • 1.  No Easy Install Option For ISO Created by Media Creation Tool

    I created a Windows 10 iso file using Download Windows 10.

    However, when I do:

    1. Check install from disc or image and continue.

    2. Choose Use another disc or disc image and select the iso file.

    3. When I click continue, it gives me Finish dialog without easy install option.

    I'm running Fusion 8.5.8.

    I've tested this on my lab and sure enough, mine too is not working. The "Easy Install" option when adding a new VM is not coming up and it's going directly to the "Finish" window. I've tested this with Fusion 8.5.7 and 8.5.8 with the same results. I've followed what's mentioned on KB Installing Windows 10 as a guest operating system in VMware Fusion (2128765) going to the Microsoft Download to acquire an ISO image of Windows 10. VMware Engineers have been notified on the issue and at the moment, this is a known issue.
