Network on windows server 2003?

Hello

I have installed Vmware Fusion on my macbook pro.

Then I have installed 2 windows server 2003 and one Windows XP. I did that at work and the update from internet worked perfectly.

When I got back home they could not connect to the internett. I open the Windows XP and the internett connection did not work - so then I did ipconfig /release and renew and that worked like a charmed

On windows server 2003 I do Ipconfig and get the info on windows Ip Configuration

When I do Ipconfig /release it gives me this:

The operation failed as no adapter is in the stat permissible for this operation

Can anybody help me out here??? Is there something within Windows Server 2003 that I have not done?

Hi baiaz,

Have you tried disabling and enabling the adapter ? If yes and error continues, it could be winsock corruption,more info here

This is probably to stupied question.... but how do I enabeling and disabeling it?

you ment going to the network right click and disableing and enabeling it?

I did.. did not work....

I did what was suggested on the page you refered to. Did not work eighter.
