Network error when start astaro-security-gateway-ESX_v3-va-7_004

When i try to start a got an error: "unable to open network mapping library"

How can i fix this problem?

Try using the OTHER Astaro VM - the non-ESX one.

I assume you're getting this error in the guest? What's your network setup (type of NIC, connection method (bridged/NAT/host-only), host machine type, wired/wireless, etc.)? What does Astaro do, and does it rely on ESX-specific features (this is the Fusion beta forum)?

The error is a fusion error-box

I tryed all network connection methods, wired no difference.

Astaro is a firewall appliance.

When i try this on e Windows-workstation version it runs fine.

Anything else interesting in vmware.log or vmware-vmfusion.log?

I don't see anything interesting in the vmware.log

Hmm, I don't see anything either. I'll take a closer look tomorrow; in the meantime, you should file a support request.

I got this error also in Fusion while trying to open an image-level backup from an ESX 3.5 server. All I had to do was edit the .vmx file and remove the "ethernet0.networkName=" line and it worked without a hitch. Incidentally, this value was set to "VM Network".
