I'm trying to RDP into my Windows 7 VM (virtual machine) here at the office, that's running on a Mac, from my home PC also running Windows 7.
STATS
- I'm running VMWare Fusion 3
- My Mac version 10.5.8
- VM I'm running is a Window 7 Home Premium 64 bit OS
- Home machine I'm running is also a Windows 7 Home Premium 64
STEPS
- I've got Fusion running in bridged mode
- I disabled the Windows Firewall on the VM
- There's no antivirus on the VM
- I endabled RDP options on the VM
- I changed the RDP port, and I changed my IP so it was static.
- I forwarded the port on the router
I just don't get what I'm missing? I've done this a thousand times on a Windows, this is my first Mac. I trried remoting in from several machines to see if the issue was my home computer. I'm wondering if my Mac has some internal firewall, or some port that needs opened? Again any help would be greatly appreciated.
