NAT connection issues

I have a Macbook Pro retina mid 2014 and I have vmware fusion 7.1.1 and I am running a windows 7 ultimate virtual machine. I am using a NAT connection and it succesfullly connects to the network but frequently says no internet access available at the taskbar.  Sometimes webpages will still load and connection is always available on other devices. Sometimes it says no internet access available and internet will stop working but just for the virtual machine. It also gives this error when I try to connect to a VPN. The bridged connection will work, but not with VPN. Please help

Welcome to Fusion forum.  Which type of VPN you're connecting to? Could you try to remove the current network adapter from VM setting and then re-add a new one, and see if this problem persists? Thanks.
