NAT SMB not working

I'm trying to connect to NAS share in VMware 13.0.1, but its  failing.. however i can ping NAS fine, and tracert works fine too from Windows 11 ARM

I can see NAS and connect ok if i change to "Bridged"

Is the VM unable to find the NAS device when it tries to connect, or is the NAS device rejecting your connection when NAT networking is configured?

How are you trying to connect to the NAS device and what is the error message that occurs?
