Moving VMWare Fusion to a new computer

I will soon be selling my old iMac and will be purchasing a new machine. is there a way to transfer the license to the new computer? i will be reformatting the old computer before it is sold and so, VMWare will not be on the old machine.

Just install VMware Fusion the new computer from CD or the .dmg downloaded from VMware and copy your Virtual Machines over to the new computer. You can get your serial number from the VMware web site if you registered it or from the VMware Fusion menu.

My licenses are neatly preserved, so I'd suppose yours also ?

Copy the 'disks' over (Documents/Virtual Machine Library), do a blank fusion install, put in a license and voila !
