I have an external Dell monitor connected to a MacBook Pro 13" either using the HDMI or Thunderbolt ports. The mouse will function correctly when the Windows 10 client screen is extended from the Mac to the Dell monitor. When I disconnect the Dell monitor and just use the MacBook, the mouse pointer is offset on the right and bottom of a window in a Windows 10 client by an inch. And sometimes the screen will go black when moving the mouse pointer around the screen of the VM. This is on a freshly install High Sierra on the MacBook and a fresh install of Windows 10 from an ISO on a VM created from scratch. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
