Mouse not usable in VM.

When I click the mouse in the VM, it stops working for both the VM and the Mac.  The cursor disappears.  I push the power button to log out of the Mac, then log back in and the mouse again works for the Mac.  But once I click in the VM it agains stops working.  I've run all the diagnostics I know of on the Mac but nothing fixed this.

Fusion version?

Guest OS in the VM?

VMware Tools or open-vm-tools installed in the guest OS?

I think you just need to press Cmd+Ctrl and the mouse will be freed from the guest.  You might have a different issue than I have encountered - and the Cmd+Ctrl fixed my lost mouse when using Fusion.

I'm aware of Command/Control to release the mouse to the Mac system, this issue is something else, but thank you for your reply.
