Mouse auto moves to center of window

Hello,

I often have Fusion taking one half of the screen and another window like a browser or a PDF open in another. Whenever Fusion has focus and I'm type something, if the mouse is outside of the Fusion window, for example, I'm scrolling another background window, as soon as I type in Fusion, the mouse position jumps back to the center of the Fusion window. Is there any way to turn this off?

Maybe there's some setting I can change by editing preferences? I tried

pref.grabOnKeyPress = "FALSE"

without effect. Perhaps it's some setting taken from older VMware days though I think it's no longer needed, especially for OS X.
