Under Fusion 12.2.1 and host Monterey 12.0.1, the same version Monterey guest can’t get past the screen for setting the country. In this screen, the mouse is super sluggish and before I can select the United States, the guest kernel panics.
Alternatively, the initial install simply starts up to a black screen with an empty progress bar and sits there indefinitely.
