Migrating from Macbook Air to new MBP

I've successfully moved my VM across from my MBA to my new MBP (late 2008), reinstalled Fusion, and all appears to be running fine. I did, however, get a warning when restoring the VM about 'processor features' or similar being different. Is there anything special I need to do in the VM configuration and/or Tools to ensure it runs correctly on the new machine?

Thanks,

Tom

From your post, it sounds like your VM was suspended when you copied it from the MBA to the MBP. It is probably safer to shut the VM down before "moving" between platforms. When suspended the VM maintains the contents in memory in a file, and at times the underlying host architecture can kind of invalidate how the memory was set up.

Don't believe you have to do anything except restart the VM on the new host.
