Many question about Fusion 7 and window 10 preview

Hi

I've installed the windows 10 preview with bootcamp and I'm trying Fusion 7 to use it.

That's works but I have some problems

- I have ask to display the small black toolbar, but I tried to move it on the right and then on the top of the screen. Now the toolbar is not displayed anymore.

- I do not succed to use the native resolution of the mac (2560 * 1440). This resolution is nos proposed.

Move your mouse to the very top of the screen/menubar

The fusion control options will slide into view. The photo below is an example what is seen when the options slide down.

Also, three finger swipe on the trackpad, command + tab will, and tapping F3 will let you switch between fusion windows

For your second issue, I have no idea what you're wanting to do. (a screenshot would be nice to see what's going on)

For the third, install/reinstall VMware tools to get windows to auto-size to the native resolution in fullscreen.

Thank You.

I've tried but still no 2560*1440 screen resolution available.

Mayby due to window 10 technical preview !

Works for me... You don't have to manually change the screen resolution, Fusion enables the VM to auto-adjust the resolution on any expansion/compression of the window size.

Also, did you enable these Display settings?

Hum.

it's works for me too

BUT...

the screen is zoomed in order to fill all the screen.

the resolution of windows is not set to 2560*1440. so there is a very boring blur effect

Best,

Etienne

If the resolution doesn't resize, completely remove and then re-install VMware tools.

Also, Windows 10 is still in beta, there are going to be many bugs before the final release, you may be experiencing one of them.

Well.

I've reinstalled vmware tools twice. nothing changed.

It seen's, it is not possible to use windows in native resolution with fusion 7

My windows 10 is installed with bootcamp.

if I boot under window the resolution is correct.

I will wait for a patch.

I apologize for bumping an old thread and for not spending more time on Google for this.

Must I have Windows 7 or 8 installed on Fusion 7 in order to then install the Windows 10 preview on top of it?

Or may Windows 10 be installed fresh as a unique VM?

Thank you so much,
