Major error need help

OK, I am a complete computer fool and need some help.

using VM ware fusion on my mac, while the fusion is in sleep mode, my mac informed me that I have limited space. I went ahead and deleted about 8-10 2gb files, I then went to switch over to the windows side on VMware and it won't open.

Anyone offer any solutions, anyone who can help me?

Appreciate it.

Please list the files inside the directory/package of your Windows VM.
Did you delete anything from inside that directory ?

You open Finder and navigate to the directory where you stored your VM

Yes, that listing.  Looks like you are missing some vmdk files...

Yes - but the screenshot is incomplete.

Please open the file "Windows 7 x64.vmdk" in a texteditor and then check which Windows 7 x64-s0**.vmdk are missing.

assuming they go in order- the list is missing 26 files.

2, 8,11, 17, 18, 19, 21, 23, 27, 33, 34, 36, 37, 43, 50, 52, 86, 87, 103, 117, 120, 128, 129, 170, 190, 197

which is more than I removed.

Please attach "Windows 7 x64.vmdk" to your next reply.
If the missing slices all belong to that VMDK then you will not be able to fix it.
If the VMDK is important enough you may be able to extract a part of the data though.

some of the files on it and emails certainly are important. And just to emphasise my computer stupidity, I didn't back up.

I still need to see the file :Windows 7 x64.vmdk
Guessing by the file-listing it maybe possible to at least use the vmdk from another Windows VM to extract part of your data.
When I have seen the Windows 7 x64.vmdk I can tell you what to do next.
