I'm using a Macbook Pro 17" with I7 and VMware Fusion 4.1.2 Two VM's are located on my Mac (XP and Win7) In each VM the VMware tools are installed. When I connect an USB-Stick to the Mac, (both VM's are running) it will be mouted by the Mac and shown on the Desktop. No question from Fusion. When I tra to connect this USB-Stick to a VM it will be shortly disconneted from the Mac and after 1 sec or less it will be back on the Mac.
No chance to connect a USB-Device to a running VM.
Can anybody help me ?
