Mac OS Monterey ESXI VM : Keyboard and Mouse support

Hello, i am facing an issue when trying to virtualize Mac OS Monterey on ESXi, but the mouse and keyboard support randomly stops working accross reboots.

I had to install the OS without using the mouse at all, and once it finished, i managed to install the VMWare tools. However it doesn't look like it is enough, the mouse and keyboard still randomly stops working when you reboot the VM. What is the required USB controller version that works best for Mac OS Monterey VMs ?

From the ESXi, i have been able to change it to USB 2.0 (it says that usb3.0 is not supported (neither mouse or keyboard works on it))

From the VMware Workstation, i have also been able to force it to be USB 1.1,

Side note: I Also tried using a mac keyboard, it makes no difference.

I would like to avoid using a USB passthrough if possible. (meaning plugging a mouse on the ESXI which is in another room)

Is there any documentation from apple regarding this ESXI - MacOS-Monterey USB Keyboard / Mouse issue ?

Has anybody else faced this issue and is aware of a workaround ?

It doesn't respond when i try to move the mouse

OK, so you can't discuss running MacOS on non-Apple hardware here.

Why? Because doing so is a violation of the Apple EULA. So it goes against the terms of use of the communities.
