Am running VMWare Fusion 4.1.1; Lion 10.7.2. Haven't experienced problems until this morning when I noticed I have no sound in Fusion. Sound is just fine on the Mac side.
I updated Creative AudioPCI and still no sound. Any ideas would be appreicated.
Hi Marjean,
1. Please check your device manager inside your vm's and see if there are sound devices/unkown devices. If there is/are unkown device/s install the drivers.
2. Reinstall vmware tools.
3. If you have no sound devices at all in device manager:
-power off the VM
-in the Fusion menu, go to Virtual Machine & Settings
-Choose sound
-Install a sound device
-Power up the VMand wait for the drivers to install automatically.
